La Closerie des Parfums Collection Rose
I regret that I didn’t ask for samples of all the fragrances at the stand of the French brand La Closerie des Parfums, but took only Collection Rose, but I simply fell in love with their roses.
The most magical is Bois Rose Muscade, a bright rose from chivalric novels where in one line there is the tenderness of the petals of a morning rose that has just blossomed, in another - the burning cold of sharpened steel, the green of the blooming gardens of France and the red desert, through which a detachment of Saracens gallops with a whoop.
The author of the composition, the perfumer of the Drom company Benoist Lapouza, deliberately strove for maximum contrast, colliding ice and fire, flowers and spices, romantic Europe and incomprehensible Asia, to show what a rose is capable of as an inspirer and storyteller.
Rose Muscade quickly fills all available space with an astringent chill of spices and musk. After such a convincing overture, the beautiful Damask rose slowly enters. Nutmeg gives a slight taste of danger, and the transparent woody-amber theme in the finale makes this finale especially long.

Lemon, mandarin, damask rose, nutmeg, amber, cedar, vetiver, vanilla.
Petale Rose Cardamome is restless and noisy. It seems to be walking through an oriental bazaar: greeting, joking, laughing, arguing left and right in several languages, tasting berries and fruits, rubbing spices in her fingers, jingling small centavos and quetzals in an embroidered leather wallet. The author of Rose Cardamome, perfumer of Expression Parfumees (and later Drom) Vincent Ricird made the most modern rose in the collection. There is no rose oil here and not a gram of solemnity, which you certainly expect. The rose in Rose Cardamome is a fresh, real Grasse centipede rose, acidified with currant juice and crushed cardamom seeds. The finale is vague, made of sweetish woody tones and cloudy musk, but this does not spoil it at all. Rose Cardamome is a contraband rose, a deceitful rose. Created for those who are afraid of its power, but are ready to make some concessions.

Blackcurrant buds, cardamom, violet leaves, centifolia rose, white tea, amber, cedar, guaiac, leather.
Suede Roce Cannelle — roses in wine and pink chocolate. Perfumer Dalia Izem was definitely inspired by the bloody thick merlot from the barrel with its tones of black berries, spices, smoke and leather, and ate the wine against the rules — with truffles and melting dark chocolate with raisins, cinnamon and pepper. Rose Cannelle is a gourmand rose, but in the modern sense of the word. In other words, with alcohol and spices and absolutely no sugar.

Plum, galbanum, cinnamon, damask rose, jasmine, amber, patchouli, leather, cashmere, sandalwood.
I like all three, but when I decide to fork out the cash (135 euros for 50 ml, 198 euros for 100 ml), I will buy them in the order I described.
