Wide Society

 Wide Society is a new and in every sense modern brand, striving to:

- minimize packaging, so as not to waste the planet's resources senselessly;

- make bottles convenient for young, actively traveling people (in fact, all the names are also about traveling);

- introduce us to the entire team of authors (see the brand's website), because perfumes are made by a team, and not by one person, even if he is a genius three times over.

And the perfume itself? The perfume, despite all these inputs, turned out to be traditional. In other words, the form and presentation have changed, and inside is what you already know and love.

The brightest in the Wide Society collection is the pink chypre Night Train. More precisely, rose-patchouli. It has a lot of soft pink and languid black roses, cheerful and fresh sweet and sour lychee juice and darkness creeping in from all sides. It is somewhat unexpected to come across a provocatively elegant fragrance in a bottle that is supposed to be thrown into a traveler's backpack. But you may also have red lace panties in that backpack. Who knows?

Suite #6 Wide Society - I called it "ward #6" for myself. Here is also a chypre, only not floral, but fruity with dried persimmon, plum and pear jam, sweet lemonade and bitter pomegranate juice, with a classic base of noble dark wood, but very amorphous and not diffuse at all. To my great regret. It does not fly through the air, does not drag in a sillage and does not kill all the envious people with its beauty, but it could.

Wide Society Nubes is delicacy itself. Perfume for girls with thin elegant wrists (c). Also not a very diffuse composition, but irises are rarely unrestrained, and here is an iris. An iris flower on a thin stem, iris milk with lily dew, candied violets and almond petals. A tenacious woody-amber screed keeps it in the mind (ours).

The only truly travel fragrance in the Wide Society collection, Acqua Travelis smells like the freshness and echoing silence of a dawn airport, thick black tea with ginger, which is used to escape jet lag and an approaching cold, and also smells a little like the chypre darkness of the baggage claim area.

Up in the Air Wide Society is a perfume for those who have a long layover in Doha or Dubai. Here is a drunken raspberry rose with saffron and fruity hookah tobacco, strong alcohol, purple velvet and patterned carpets - a bit of oriental exoticism visible from the hotel window.

There are large ones - 100 ml. and there are sets of miniatures 10 ml with a spray in large (all six) and small (three pieces) sets.
