Atelier Cologne Cedre Atlas, Clementine California, Santal Carmin, Vetiver Fatal
Atelier Cologne is an unexplored brand for me. Every time I selectively grab something from different collections of its extensive line and from different shelves, but I still don’t have a complete idea. And now I managed to try four very different fragrances.
Cedre Atlas — should evoke warm feelings in the inhabitants of the Persian Gulf countries and in connoisseurs of woody-amber compositions, and not in lumberjacks at all. I don’t feel any cedar here, I feel from the very first seconds of sounding the smoke of smoldering bakhoor chips and the warming heaviness of amber, the powerful pressure of evernil, loved by many from Baccarat Rouge MFK, and the bitterness of spicy vetiver. Cedre Atlas sounds somewhat monotonous and smooth. Not too diffuse, but lasts on the skin for a long time.

Bergamot, blackcurrant buds, lemon, apricot, cedar, jasmine, papyrus, gray amber, vetiver.
Clementine California also doesn’t smell like what’s in the name to me. On the skin you can feel a light soapy freshness and sweetish juice of green apple, a cheerful spirit of aromatic herbs, a light sourness and strawberry tones of lychee. Somewhere far away in the background, red grapefruit reminds of itself. A very Russian perfume profile. I think Clementine California should be very popular with us. Especially in summer.

Clementine, mandarin, juniper berries, star anise, basil, Sichuan pepper, cypress, sandalwood, vetiver..
Santal Carmin I would call saffron carmine. A patterned gold tray on which a generous hand scatters cures for black melancholy - creamy taffy, lemon candied peel and honey baklava. A noticeably gourmand, sweet, but delicate aroma with almost no trail. Salvation for those who want to wear oriental perfume to work.

Bergamot, lime, saffron, guaiac wood, musk, sandalwood, cedar, papyrus, vanilla. .
What the hell! Vetiver Fatal is not vetiver either and definitely not fatal. A soft, friendly aroma of fresh garden greens, curly salad leaves, young and full milky juice of green peas and juicy cabbage stalks. It develops not too noticeably towards darker nettle greens and remains sweet to the end. Another very Russian aroma that meets our general love for light, non-puzzling aromas. Rather masculine.

Bitter orange, lemon, bergamot, orange blossom, fig, violet leaf, cedar, oud, vetiver.
