Gritti i Turchesi

The blotters of the citrus collection Gritti smell wonderful all together: summer, warmth and something so elusive Italian that turns even orange peel into candy.

Arancia Ambrata Gritti — persistent freshness. The very case when the bitterness of citrus oils is supported by the salty bitterness of woody-amber aromatic materials. Here, oranges are only in the name, because the scent itself contains bergamot greenery and hot paprika greenery, a heap of jasmine petals, burnt wood and a drop of black vanilla resin. Arancia Ambrata is more interesting in development than at the very beginning. Give it time.

Costiera is my absolute favorite in the i Turchesi collection. If you like classic colognes, you will like it too. Warm fruity heart of bergamot with all the sun it has accumulated, lemon juice with vanilla sugar, mint leaf and rosemary sprig. In the best Italian traditions: either a kitchen, or a garden, or high perfumery.

Neroli Extreme Gritti for lovers of snow-white sheets of increased density. There is fresh air, milky soft light breaking through linen curtains and fetishes of a good housewife: washing, hot iron, starch.

Pomelo Sorrento Gritti is more about green tea with ice and lemon than about citrus. The tea is transparent, almost colorless, they added literally a slice of lemon, and served with the tea Japanese limited editions of Kit Kat pink wafers and green tea matcha. Probably unexpected for Italians, but very much our aroma - delicate, as if blurred and fresh.

Tangerina Gritti is the most gourmet in the collection. The first breath is the lemon-jasmine freshness of hedione, and then a whole handful of rather spicy than sweet ginger and tangerine candied peel, lemon drops and pink marmalade falls on you. Somewhere in this handful there are a couple of toffees. A simple fragrance for sweet tooths of any age.
